Samsung S Pen Location Tracking: Which Models Work With SmartThings Find?

Samsung's S Pen stylus has evolved over the years, but only certain models can be located using the SmartThings Find network. According to Samsung, the S Pen Pro is the only stylus currently compatible with SmartThings Find, allowing users to track its location if misplaced. This feature is particularly useful for Galaxy device owners who rely on the S Pen for note-taking, drawing, or navigation. The S Pen Pro, which works across multiple Galaxy devices including tablets and phones, includes Bluetooth connectivity that enables location tracking. Other S Pens, such as those bundled with Galaxy S Ultra phones or Galaxy Tab models, lack this capability because they do not have the necessary hardware. SmartThings Find uses a crowdsourced network of Galaxy devices to locate lost items, similar to Apple's Find My network. For users who frequently misplace their stylus, the S Pen Pro offers peace of mind. As Samsung continues to expand its ecosystem, more S Pen models may gain tracking support in the future.
