Acer Predator Atlas 8 Gaming Handheld Arrives in US: Price, Specs, and Best Buy Exclusive

Acer is bringing its Predator Atlas 8 gaming handheld to the United States for the first time, with the Intel Arc G3 Extreme variant set to launch exclusively at Best Buy. This marks a significant expansion for Acer's handheld lineup, which was initially announced in May. The Atlas 8 features an Intel Core Ultra processor and Intel Arc graphics, positioning it as a competitor to devices like the Steam Deck and ASUS ROG Ally. The US launch pricing has been confirmed, though specific figures were not detailed in the source. The handheld aims to deliver PC gaming performance in a portable form factor, with a focus on high refresh rates and robust cooling. Acer's entry into the US market signals growing competition in the handheld gaming space, offering consumers another option for on-the-go gaming. The exclusive Best Buy partnership could influence availability and early adoption. As handheld gaming continues to gain traction, the Predator Atlas 8's arrival may push rivals to innovate further, ultimately benefiting gamers with more choices and better technology.
