Week 7 fantasy football standouts: Omar Cooper Jr., KC Concepcion, Devin Singletary among top Week 8 waiver wire adds

Rookie wide receivers Omar Cooper Jr. and KC Concepcion are emerging as must-roster fantasy assets after Week 7, turning limited targets into explosive plays that could define the rest of the season. Cooper Jr. and Concepcion have shown big-play ability that fantasy managers should prioritize on the Week 8 waiver wire, especially in deeper leagues where high-upside rookies are scarce. Meanwhile, running back Devin Singletary presents a sneaky stash opportunity ahead of potential backfield shifts and trade deadlines, as his role could expand if injuries or roster moves create more touches. These players matter now because late-October waiver additions often decide playoff pushes, and acting early on emerging talent can give managers a critical edge. With byes and injuries piling up, securing upside before it becomes obvious is the key to staying competitive down the stretch.
