Vangsgaard Double Fires Aston Villa to 3-2 WSL Win at Everton

Aston Villa secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Everton in the Women's Super League at Goodison Park, with Amalie Vangsgaard netting twice for the visitors. The Danish forward's brace proved decisive as Villa built a commanding lead before surviving a late rally from the Toffees. Everton fought back in the closing stages, but Villa held on to claim all three points in a dramatic finish. The result lifts Villa in the WSL table and underscores their attacking threat, while Everton are left to rue missed opportunities after a spirited comeback fell short. Vangsgaard's clinical finishing was the difference, highlighting her growing importance to the team. As the WSL season progresses, Aston Villa will look to build on this momentum, while Everton must tighten defensively to avoid similar late drama in future matches.
