Petr Yan successfully defended his UFC bantamweight title against Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 333, winning a unanimous decision in a bout many are calling a Fight of the Year contender. The 25-minute contest at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas saw Yan overcome a slow start to take control with precise striking and timely takedown defense. Dvalishvili, known for his relentless pressure and wrestling, had moments of success early but struggled to maintain his pace as Yan adjusted. The victory extends Yan's reign and cements his status as one of the division's best, while Dvalishvili suffers his first loss since 2018.
