Sunderland to stick with manager Regis Le Bris despite bottom-place Premier League start

Sunderland manager Regis Le Bris will be given more time to turn the club's fortunes around, despite the team sitting bottom of the Premier League after a poor start to the season. The Black Cats have struggled to find form in the top flight, but the club's hierarchy is reportedly prepared to show patience with the Frenchman, who took charge ahead of the campaign. Le Bris, who arrived with a reputation for developing young talent, has faced a challenging opening stretch, with Sunderland failing to secure wins and conceding goals at an alarming rate. However, the decision to stick with him signals a belief that stability and long-term planning are more important than a quick managerial change. Sunderland's next few fixtures could prove crucial, as the club looks to climb off the foot of the table and build momentum. The coming weeks will test whether the board's faith in Le Bris is rewarded with improved performances and results on the pitch.
