Michael Carrick's Middlesbrough Dismantled 3-0 by Bournemouth as Pressure Mounts on Manchester United Legend

Middlesbrough manager Michael Carrick suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat at the hands of Bournemouth, intensifying scrutiny on the former Manchester United midfielder. The loss at Old Trafford—where Carrick once starred—underscored the growing challenges facing his side, who were outclassed by a clinical Bournemouth team. For Carrick, the result is a stark reminder of the ruthless nature of football management, with his 'gang of the damned' struggling to find form. The defeat also draws parallels to the turmoil at Manchester United, where managers like Jose Mourinho, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and Erik ten Hag have all faced harsh endings. Carrick, once a candidate for the United job, now finds himself under pressure at Middlesbrough, with speculation mounting about his future. As Bournemouth's victory highlighted the gap in quality, Carrick must quickly rally his team to avoid being the next managerial casualty in an unforgiving sport.
