Manchester United vs Bournemouth: Michael Carrick Benches Bruno Fernandes in Must-Win Clash

Manchester United face Bournemouth at Old Trafford under mounting pressure, with caretaker manager Michael Carrick making the bold call to bench star midfielder Bruno Fernandes. The decision comes as United look to bounce back from a poor run of form that has left them adrift in the Premier League table. Carrick, taking charge after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's exit, is aiming to steady the ship and reignite a top-four push. Bournemouth, meanwhile, arrive with confidence after a solid start to the season and will look to exploit United's instability. The match is crucial for United's season, with fans and pundits questioning the squad's mentality. Carrick's team selection signals a shift toward pragmatism, but only a win will silence critics. With the January transfer window looming, every result carries extra weight for the club's direction. Can Carrick's gamble pay off, or will the pressure at Old Trafford continue to mount?
