Lisandro Martinez Eyes Summer Exit from Manchester United Amid Transfer Speculation

Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez is reportedly seeking a departure from Old Trafford this summer, according to Saturday's newspaper reports. The Argentine centre-back, who joined from Ajax in 2022, has been a key figure under Erik ten Hag but is now linked with a move away as the club prepares for another rebuild. The 26-year-old's potential exit would mark a significant shift in United's defensive plans, with Martinez having established himself as a fan favourite for his aggressive style and ball-playing ability. While no specific destination is named, the reports suggest Martinez is open to a new challenge after a season disrupted by injuries. United's hierarchy will need to weigh any offers against the cost of replacing a player of his calibre, especially with Financial Fair Play constraints limiting their spending power. For now, the speculation adds another layer of uncertainty to a summer already expected to bring major changes at Old Trafford. The coming weeks will reveal whether Martinez gets his wish or if United can convince him to stay.
