Jonah Coleman Takes Over Broncos Backfield, Hockenson Rises, Metcalf Fades: Week 8 Fantasy Stock Watch

Denver Broncos running back Jonah Coleman has seized control of the backfield, emerging as a must-start fantasy option after a dominant Week 8 performance. Coleman's workload and efficiency have skyrocketed, making him one of the most valuable waiver-wire additions of the season. Meanwhile, Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson is gaining momentum as he returns to full health, providing a reliable target for quarterback Sam Darnold and solidifying his status as a top-five tight end. On the flip side, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf continues to disappoint fantasy managers, struggling with consistency and failing to produce WR1 numbers despite high expectations. Metcalf's declining target share and big-play drought are concerning trends. As fantasy playoffs approach, managers should aggressively pursue Coleman and Hockenson while considering benching or trading Metcalf. The Week 8 landscape shows that volume and opportunity are king, and those who adapt quickly will thrive.
