Jake Paul to Face Kickboxing Champion Cedric Doumbe in Dubai on Christmas Eve

Jake Paul has confirmed that he will return to the boxing ring on Christmas Eve in Dubai against Cedric Doumbe, a renowned kickboxing champion. The event, set for December 24, marks Paul’s first bout since his high-profile matches and adds an international flavor with Dubai as the host city. Doumbe, a multiple-time kickboxing world champion, brings a striking pedigree that could test Paul’s boxing development. For Paul, this fight is another step in his quest to be taken seriously in combat sports, while Doumbe gets a massive platform to introduce himself to a broader audience. With the holiday timing and exotic location, the event is poised to attract global attention and pay-per-view interest. Paul’s ability to draw casual fans, combined with Doumbe’s legitimate striking credentials, sets up a compelling clash of styles. The fight matters because it continues Paul’s pattern of facing recognizable names from adjacent combat sports, and a win over a respected striker like Doumbe could further legitimize his boxing career. As the year winds down, all eyes will be on Dubai to see if Paul can deliver another spectacle.
