Igor Thiago Scores as Brentford Beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 to End Winless Run

Brentford secured their first victory in five matches with a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest at the Gtech Community Stadium, thanks to a second-half goal from Igor Thiago. The Brazilian forward found the net to give the Bees a crucial three points and lift them away from the lower reaches of the Premier League table. The result ends a frustrating run for Thomas Frank's side, who had drawn two and lost two of their previous four outings. Nottingham Forest, meanwhile, missed the chance to climb further clear of the relegation zone and remain looking over their shoulders. The victory was built on a solid defensive display, with Brentford keeping a clean sheet against a Forest team that had scored in each of their last three away games. Thiago's strike, his third of the season, proved decisive and underlined his growing importance to the team. For Brentford, this win provides a timely boost ahead of a challenging run of fixtures, while Forest must regroup quickly to avoid being dragged back into danger.
