Former Eagles Star Advocates for Jalen Hurts Amid Criticism

In a recent outpouring of support, former Philadelphia Eagles player Brian Westbrook has come to the defense of quarterback Jalen Hurts, arguing that the criticism directed at the young star lacks substantial justification. Hurts has faced scrutiny following a string of performances that, while mixed, demonstrate potential and resilience. Westbrook emphasizes the need for a more supportive fan base and a clearer perspective on the challenges that young quarterbacks like Hurts face in the NFL. This comes at a pivotal moment for the Eagles and their fans, pushing for unity and belief in their team's future. With Hurts likely to be a key figure in the Eagles' strategy moving forward, Westbrook's comments serve to highlight the broader narrative of patience and support that franchises must uphold as they navigate player development.
