Florida State’s search for a new head coach comes at a critical juncture, as the Seminoles face a massive buyout for Mike Norvell and significant athletic department debt. The next hire must be a proven roster builder capable of revitalizing a program that has fallen short of its ACC powerhouse expectations. Among the seven primary candidates, names include proven leaders with track records of rebuilding programs and maximizing talent under financial constraints. The list features a mix of experienced head coaches and rising coordinators, each evaluated for their ability to navigate the unique challenges in Tallahassee. Additionally, two wild-card options are being monitored, offering potential high-upside hires that could energize the fan base and recruiting trail.
