Fantasy Baseball 2027: Jacob Misiorowski Takes Throne as Former Aces Fall

Jacob Misiorowski has emerged as the top starting pitcher in fantasy baseball heading into 2027, dethroning previous aces who have fallen from grace. Cam Schlittler has also joined the elite tier, solidifying his status as a must-roster arm. Meanwhile, Paul Skenes, once a fantasy darling, now faces a steep climb back to stardom after a disappointing stretch. The starting pitcher landscape has shifted dramatically, with young arms rising and established names fading. For fantasy managers, this means early draft capital should be redirected toward Misiorowski and Schlittler, while Skenes becomes a high-risk, high-reward flier. The volatility at the position underscores the importance of scouting emerging talent and not overpaying for past performance. As the 2027 season approaches, the starting pitcher hierarchy has been rewritten, and those who adapt fastest will gain a significant edge in their leagues.
