Chelsea's Xabi Alonso Praises Estevao's Impact in 2-0 Win Over Manchester United

Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso singled out winger Estevao for praise after the Brazilian's influential cameo in a 2-0 Premier League victory over Manchester United. Estevao, who has faced limited game time this season, responded with a dynamic performance that helped secure three points against a struggling United side. Alonso highlighted the young forward's professionalism and readiness, noting that his response to recent benchings was exactly what the coaching staff wanted to see. The win strengthens Chelsea's position in the top four, while United's woes deepen as they remain stuck in the bottom half. With injuries and fixture congestion ahead, Estevao's emergence could be timely for Alonso's squad rotation. The result also raises questions about United's direction under their current management, as they failed to register a shot on target until late in the game. For Chelsea fans, Estevao's display offers a glimpse of the depth that could prove crucial in the season's decisive months.
