Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca in frosty exchange over red cards: 'You lack information'

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca clashed with a reporter over the club's disciplinary record, insisting the journalist 'lacks information' about the Blues' red cards under his tenure. The tense moment came as Maresca fielded questions about Chelsea's recent sending-offs, which have raised concerns over on-field discipline at Stamford Bridge. The Italian, who took charge in 2024, pushed back on the suggestion that his team has a systemic issue with dismissals, arguing the numbers don't tell the full story. His frosty reply underscores the pressure mounting on the former Leicester City boss as Chelsea fight for a top-four finish in the Premier League. With key fixtures ahead, Maresca will need his squad to keep their cool—or risk more damaging suspensions that could derail their season.
