Atlanta Dream vs Golden State Valkyries Game 7: Winner-Take-All for First WNBA Title

The Golden State Valkyries host the Atlanta Dream in a decisive Game 7 of the 2026 WNBA Finals, with both franchises seeking their first championship. The Valkyries, the No. 2 seed, advanced by defeating the Dallas Wings 2-1 in the first round and sweeping the Las Vegas Aces in the semifinals, capped by an 87-77 overtime win. They took a 3-2 series lead but lost Game 6 on the road, forcing tonight's winner-take-all matchup. Led by head coach Natalie Nakase, Golden State looks to complete a remarkable second season. Atlanta, meanwhile, aims to cap its own breakthrough run. The game tips off at Chase Center, where the Valkyries have been strong all year. A title would mark a historic milestone for either team and reshape the WNBA landscape.
