Alisha Palmowski Crowned 2026 F1 Academy Champion in Austin

British racing star Alisha Palmowski clinched the 2026 F1 Academy title in Austin, Texas, with three races still remaining in the season. The 19-year-old from Warrington, England, secured an unassailable points lead after a dominant performance at the Circuit of the Americas, becoming the first British driver to win the all-female single-seater championship. Palmowski, who drives for Campos Racing, entered the weekend with a commanding advantage and sealed the crown with a podium finish in Saturday's race, sparking emotional celebrations with her team. Her triumph marks a significant milestone for women in motorsport, as the F1 Academy continues to develop female talent for higher categories. The achievement underscores Palmowski's rapid rise through the junior ranks and cements her status as a potential future Formula 1 contender. With three races left, she has the opportunity to extend her record points tally and build momentum for a likely step up to F3 or beyond in 2027.
