Why Elsbeth Season 4 Is Skipping October 29 and When Episode 4 Airs

Fans of Elsbeth won't see a new episode tonight, October 29, as the CBS series takes a brief break from its weekly schedule. The legal dramedy, starring Carrie Preston as the astute attorney Elsbeth Tascioni, premiered its fourth season on October 8, 2026, and has aired three episodes so far. The pause is due to a scheduling shift, with the next installment, Season 4, Episode 4, expected to return the following week. This hiatus is common for network shows during the fall season, often aligning with sports events or holidays. For viewers tracking Elsbeth's quirky investigations and courtroom clashes, the delay builds anticipation for the next case. The series continues to draw strong ratings for CBS, thanks to Preston's Emmy-winning performance and the show's blend of humor and mystery. Episode 4 will resume the season's arc, promising more clever twists and guest stars. Stay tuned for its return next week.
