Tracker: CBS’ Reacher Replacement Becomes a Streaming Hit on Paramount+

CBS’ action-thriller Tracker, starring Justin Hartley as lone-wolf survivalist Colter Shaw, has emerged as a breakout streaming hit on Paramount+, positioning it as the network’s answer to Prime Video’s Reacher. The series, based on Jeffery Deaver’s bestselling novel The Never Game, follows Shaw as he uses his expert tracking skills to help law enforcement and private citizens solve mysteries—while grappling with his own fractured family history. With all episodes now available to stream, Tracker has quickly become a must-watch for fans of Reacher’s blend of high-stakes action and investigative drama. The show’s success on Paramount+ underscores the growing demand for character-driven, procedural thrillers that translate well from page to screen. As streaming platforms compete for loyal audiences, Tracker’s strong performance suggests CBS has found a durable franchise that could rival established hits. For viewers seeking a new obsession, Tracker delivers the suspense and grit that Reacher fans crave—and its streaming numbers prove it.
