Top 5 New Disney+ Series to Binge This Week: Phony, Coven Academy, The Mob, The Lowdown & VisionQuest

Disney+ is rolling out a fresh slate of original series this week, and five titles stand out for binge-watchers: Phony, Coven Academy, The Mob, The Lowdown, and VisionQuest. These new releases span genres from supernatural drama to gritty crime and coming-of-age stories, giving subscribers plenty to dive into between October 26–30, 2026. Phony explores identity and deception in the digital age, while Coven Academy brings magic-school intrigue with a dark twist. The Mob delivers a tense look at organized crime's grip on a tight-knit community, and The Lowdown offers a fast-paced, character-driven thriller. VisionQuest rounds out the list with a nostalgic yet modern take on ambition and self-discovery. With such a diverse lineup, Disney+ is clearly aiming to capture both younger audiences and adults seeking premium storytelling. These series matter because they signal the platform's continued investment in original content that competes with other major streamers, and they offer fresh worlds to escape into as the fall TV season heats up. Subscribers looking for their next obsession should start with one of these five picks before the week is out.
