Stream the Classic '60s Adventure Series 'The Time Tunnel' on Prime Video

Prime Video is now streaming the classic 1960s sci-fi adventure series The Time Tunnel, with Seasons 1, 2, and 4 available to subscribers at no extra cost. Season 3, however, is only available for rental, a curious gap that may frustrate fans looking to binge the full series. The show, which originally aired on ABC from 1966 to 1967, starred James Darren and Robert Colbert as scientists Tony Newman and Doug Phillips, who become lost in time after entering an experimental time portal. Each episode saw them landing in a different historical period, from the Titanic to the Trojan War, while colleagues back at the lab tried to retrieve them. The series was created by Irwin Allen, a prolific producer known for other sci-fi hits like Lost in Space and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. For viewers who appreciate vintage television with practical effects, dramatic cliffhangers, and a touch of Cold War-era futurism, The Time Tunnel offers a nostalgic escape. The availability on Prime Video makes it easier than ever to revisit this piece of television history, even if the missing season remains a head-scratcher for subscribers.
