Justin Hartley’s Colter Shaw Gets a New Partner in Tracker Season 4

CBS’s hit drama Tracker is adding a fresh dynamic to its fourth season as Justin Hartley’s lone-wolf reward-seeker Colter Shaw officially gains a new partner. The series, which has built a loyal audience on Shaw’s solo cross-country investigations, will introduce a new cast member to share the screen with Hartley in upcoming episodes. While the network has yet to reveal the actor’s identity or the character’s backstory, the move signals a deliberate shift toward deeper ensemble storytelling and expanded case-of-the-week possibilities. For viewers, the addition promises to challenge Shaw’s fiercely independent methods and inject new tension into the show’s formula. Tracker has consistently ranked among CBS’s top scripted series, and this casting decision reflects the network’s confidence in the show’s long-term growth. As production continues, fans can expect the new partner to appear before the season’s midpoint, setting up a second half where teamwork—or the lack of it—could redefine the series.
