It: Welcome to Derry Drops 30-Minute Halloween Prequel Episode on HBO Max

HBO Max is treating horror fans to a special Halloween surprise: a 30-minute prequel episode for the upcoming series It: Welcome to Derry. Set in the eerie Western Woods, the episode expands the terrifying world of Stephen King's Derry, Maine, just in time for the spooky season. The prequel offers a chilling glimpse into the origins of the town's dark history, building anticipation for the full series. While specific plot details remain under wraps, the Western Woods setting suggests a deeper exploration of the cursed land that has haunted Derry for centuries. For fans of the It films and King's original novel, this surprise drop is a must-watch event that bridges the gap between the big-screen adaptations and the new streaming series. It: Welcome to Derry is expected to premiere in 2025, and this prequel serves as an early taste of the nightmares to come. Don't miss the chance to return to Derry this Halloween—if you dare.
