Gladiator II with Denzel Washington Joins Original on Netflix: Stream Both $462M Epics

Ridley Scott's Gladiator II, starring Denzel Washington, has officially landed on Netflix, where it now streams alongside the original Gladiator starring Russell Crowe. The sequel, which carries a massive $462 million production budget, continues the saga of ancient Rome's power struggles and arena combat. Netflix subscribers can now watch both films back-to-back, experiencing the full arc of the story from Maximus to Lucius. The addition of Gladiator II to the platform marks a major streaming event for fans of historical epics and awards-season contenders. The film's arrival on Netflix expands its reach after a successful theatrical run, bringing its spectacle to a wider audience. With both films now available, viewers can compare the legacy of the original with the new chapter, which features Washington's standout performance as Macrinus. This move underscores Netflix's strategy of securing high-profile blockbusters to boost engagement. For fans of sword-and-sandal epics, this is a rare chance to stream both installments in one place.
