Ezra Bridger Returns in New Ahsoka Prequel Series Starring Eman Esfandi

Star Wars Rebels hero Ezra Bridger is officially back, with Eman Esfandi set to reprise the role in an upcoming prequel series tied to the Ahsoka storyline. The new series, which arrives in three months, will explore events leading up to the live-action Ahsoka show, giving fans deeper insight into Ezra's journey after the fall of the Empire. Esfandi first brought the character to live-action in Ahsoka season 1, and his return signals a major expansion of the Star Wars galaxy on Disney+. The prequel will likely fill gaps in Ezra's exile with Grand Admiral Thrawn and his connection to the mysterious Peridea. With Ahsoka season 2 also in production, this prequel series is a key part of Lucasfilm's strategy to interconnect animated and live-action storytelling. For fans of Star Wars Rebels, it's a chance to see beloved characters in new adventures. Ezra's return matters because he remains a fan-favorite Jedi whose fate has been a central mystery since Rebels ended in 2018. The series promises to bridge timelines and reward long-time viewers. Expect more announcements as the premiere nears.
