Every Actor Who Has Played Michael Myers in the Halloween Franchise

Since John Carpenter's 1978 classic Halloween, the silent, masked killer Michael Myers has been portrayed by numerous actors, each bringing a unique physicality to the role. Nick Castle originated the character in the first film, with stunt coordinator James Winburn and actor Tony Moran also contributing to key scenes. In the sequel, Dick Warlock took over, followed by George P. Wilbur in Halloween 4 and 5, and Don Shanks in Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers. The H20 timeline saw Chris Durand and Brad Loree, while Rob Zombie's remakes featured Tyler Mane. Most recently, James Jude Courtney has played Myers in the 2018 trilogy, with Castle returning for a cameo. These actors have shaped the enduring legacy of one of horror's most iconic villains, proving that the character's menace transcends any single performer.
