Apple TV+'s 'Nocturne' Review: Liev Schreiber and Zazie Beetz Lead a Solid Crime Thriller That Falls Short of Greatness

Apple TV+'s new crime thriller Nocturne brings together a formidable cast, including Liev Schreiber, Zazie Beetz, and Stephen Graham, in a story that is engaging but stops short of its full potential. The series, streaming now, follows a high-stakes investigation that draws its characters into a web of deceit and moral compromise. While the performances are strong across the board, the narrative occasionally loses momentum, leaving viewers wishing for tighter pacing and deeper character development. The show's atmospheric tension and polished production values make it a worthwhile watch for genre fans, but it may not reach the heights of the platform's other prestige dramas. For audiences seeking a well-acted crime story with a few missed opportunities, Nocturne delivers a solid, if not spectacular, experience. The series is likely to generate buzz thanks to its star power, but its legacy may hinge on whether future episodes can sharpen their focus.
