All 3 Lioness Seasons, Ranked: Taylor Sheridan’s Action Thriller Hits and Misses

Taylor Sheridan’s spy thriller Lioness has completed three seasons, and not all have hit the mark. The series, which stars Zoe Saldaña and Nicole Kidman, follows a CIA team targeting terrorists through undercover female operatives. Season 1 introduced the high-stakes premise with strong performances, but pacing issues held it back. Season 2 tightened the action and deepened character arcs, making it a fan favorite. Season 3, while ambitious, struggled to balance multiple plotlines and left some viewers divided. Ranking the seasons reveals a clear peak and a noticeable dip. For fans and newcomers alike, understanding which seasons deliver the sharpest writing and most gripping missions is key. With Sheridan’s track record, the show’s evolution offers lessons in serialized storytelling. Whether Lioness returns for a fourth season remains uncertain, but its best episodes prove the concept still has bite.
