Witchbrook Release Date Set for January 28, 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2

After eight long years since its reveal, the magical cozy life sim Witchbrook finally has a release date: January 28, 2027. It will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. Inspired by Kiki’s Delivery Service and Little Witch Academia, the game casts players as a new student at Witchbrook College in the seaside town of Mossport. You’ll learn spells, uncover town mysteries, and build relationships that can turn romantic. The game supports solo play and up to four-player co-op, with activities like broomstick racing, after-school clubs, and cooking competitions. Witchbrook’s pixel-art aesthetic and deep customization—from character creation to hundreds of outfits and furniture items—set it apart in the crowded cozy genre. With its ambitious blend of magic school life, social simulation, and creative freedom, Witchbrook aims to push the boundaries of what a life sim can be. Fans of Stardew Valley and Coral Island will want to mark their calendars for early 2027.
