Netflix Adds 30 Christmas Movies in November 2026, Including Recent Hallmark Titles

Netflix is loading up on holiday content for November 2026, adding around 30 Christmas movies to its catalog. Most of these titles are described as Hallmark-style films from the past five years, bringing a wave of cozy, formulaic romance and family fare to the platform. The move signals Netflix's continued push to dominate seasonal streaming, competing directly with Hallmark's own streaming service and other rivals during the crucial holiday viewing period. While the influx may appeal to fans of lighthearted Christmas content, it also raises questions about quality and originality, as many of these films follow predictable plots. For Netflix, the strategy is clear: capture viewers seeking comfort watching during the holidays, even if it means relying on existing Hallmark-produced or Hallmark-esque movies. The addition of 30 titles in a single month is a significant volume, suggesting a licensing deal or a bulk acquisition of older content. As streaming competition intensifies, Netflix appears willing to prioritize quantity in a genre that reliably drives engagement. Expect more holiday programming announcements as the season approaches.
