Magic: The Gathering's Star Trek Secret Lair Reprints $20 Commander Staple Thrasios, Triton Hero as Lower Decks' Tendi

Magic: The Gathering's upcoming Star Trek crossover Secret Lair is making waves by reprinting Thrasios, Triton Hero, a Commander powerhouse currently valued around $20, as Tendi from the animated series Star Trek: Lower Decks. The reprint was revealed among the first drops of the collaboration, which brings iconic Star Trek characters into the multiverse. Thrasios is a highly sought-after Simic commander known for its card advantage and mana sink ability, making this a notable reprint for players who missed the original Theros Beyond Death printing. The Secret Lair drop is expected to drive demand among both Magic players and Star Trek fans, potentially affecting secondary market prices. Other revealed cards include reprints themed around characters like Captain Picard and Data, though full details are still emerging. The crossover highlights Wizards of the Coast's strategy of partnering with major entertainment franchises to attract new players. With the drop likely to sell out quickly, fans should watch for the official release date and pricing.
