Final Fantasy 7 Revelation Gameplay Shows Massive Midgar Chasm and Pink Chocobo

Square Enix has released 46 seconds of new Final Fantasy 7 Revelation gameplay, showcasing Cloud exploring a massive chasm beneath Midgar while riding a pink chocobo. The footage highlights the game's increased verticality, a key feature of the final chapter in the remake trilogy. Final Fantasy 7 Revelation aims to be the biggest entry yet, with more regions and larger environments than Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth. The game will introduce Cid's airship, the Highwind, as a base of operations, and is expected to require around 200GB of storage. Director Naoki Hamaguchi estimates a complete playthrough could take 100 hours, and two post-launch expansions starring Vincent Valentine and Sephiroth are planned. Final Fantasy 7 Revelation launches on April 8, 2027, promising a massive conclusion to the beloved story.
