Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 Premiere Review: A Killer Shake-Up

The Season 2 premiere of Dexter: Resurrection finds everyone's favorite serial killer at a crossroads. Tired of playing nice for five-star ratings while dealing with difficult people, Dexter Morgan decides to shake up his approach to his dark passenger. The episode sets the stage for a more proactive and less restrained Dexter, hinting at a return to his ruthless roots. This shift matters because it promises to reinvigorate the series, giving fans the morally complex antihero they've been missing. The premiere carefully balances character development with the show's signature tension, making it clear that Dexter's new mindset will have far-reaching consequences. With this bold new direction, Resurrection is poised to deliver a season that both honors the original and carves its own bloody path. Expect the unexpected as Dexter's latest chapter unfolds.
