5 Classic Switch Games Still Missing Switch 2 Upgrades, Ranked

Nintendo's Switch 2 has brought performance and visual upgrades to many popular titles, but several beloved Switch games remain untouched. This ranking highlights five classics that desperately need next-gen enhancements. From sprawling open-world adventures to fast-paced action games, these titles suffer from frame rate drops, low resolutions, and long load times that the Switch 2 could easily fix. The list includes fan favorites like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and Bayonetta 3, among others. Each game is evaluated based on how much it would benefit from improved hardware, with the top spot going to the title most in need of a performance patch. While Nintendo has not confirmed upgrades for these games, the demand from players is clear. A Switch 2 patch could breathe new life into these experiences, making them feel fresh for both returning fans and newcomers. For now, players can only hope Nintendo addresses these gaps soon.
