‘The Other Bennet Sister’ Christmas Special: First Look at Mary’s Married Life with Tom Hayward

New images from the upcoming Christmas special of ‘The Other Bennet Sister’ offer a first glimpse into Mary Bennet’s married life with Tom Hayward. Ella Bruccoleri stars as Mary, with Dónal Finn as her husband, in the three-part special produced by Bad Wolf for BBC and BritBox. Filming recently wrapped in Wales, where the story continues to explore Mary’s journey beyond the events of Jane Austen’s ‘Pride and Prejudice’. The special aims to give fans a deeper look at Mary’s character as she navigates her new role as a wife, a stark contrast to her often-overlooked position in her family. With the success of previous Austen adaptations, this series is poised to attract both literary enthusiasts and period drama fans. The Christmas setting adds a festive charm, making it a likely highlight of the holiday TV schedule. As streaming platforms compete for seasonal viewership, this special could be a key draw for BritBox subscribers.
