Olivia Rodrigo Drops First Holiday Song ‘Take Me Home (4 Christmas)’ With Cynthia Nixon and Ben Marshall

Pop superstar Olivia Rodrigo is embracing the festive season with her first-ever Christmas single, “Take Me Home (4 Christmas),” set for release on Thursday at 5 p.m. PT. The track arrives with a star-studded music video featuring Emmy-winning actress Cynthia Nixon, best known for “Sex and the City,” and “Saturday Night Live” cast member Ben Marshall. For Rodrigo, whose albums “SOUR” and “GUTS” have dominated charts and earned multiple Grammys, this marks a notable expansion into holiday music—a genre where artists often cement cross-generational appeal. The collaboration with Nixon and Marshall adds a playful, nostalgic edge likely to attract both her core Gen Z fans and broader audiences. Holiday releases can deliver strong streaming numbers and radio play throughout December, making this a smart strategic move as the music industry enters its most commercially competitive season. With her track record of viral hits, Rodrigo’s festive offering could become a new seasonal staple.
