Netflix Renews Adult Animated Comedy ‘Haunted Hotel’ for Season 3

Netflix has renewed its adult animated comedy series “Haunted Hotel” for a third season, with new episodes expected to arrive in 2027. The show, created by Matt Roller, a writer known for his work on “Rick & Morty,” centers on a single mother who manages the Undervale, the world’s most haunted hotel, while raising her two children. The renewal signals Netflix’s continued investment in adult animation, a genre that has proven popular with audiences seeking irreverent, supernatural humor. While specific plot details for Season 3 remain under wraps, fans can anticipate more chaotic encounters with the hotel’s ghostly residents and the ongoing balancing act of family life amid paranormal pandemonium. The announcement comes as streaming platforms compete fiercely for original animated content, with “Haunted Hotel” carving out a niche alongside hits like “Big Mouth” and “BoJack Horseman.” For viewers, the show offers a blend of spooky fun and heartfelt family dynamics, anchored by Roller’s sharp comedic voice. As production gears up, the Undervale’s doors will stay open for another round of eerie adventures.
