Ms. Pat Hosts VH1's 'America's Funniest People' Reboot, Premiering November 16

Comedian Patricia "Ms. Pat" Williams-Lee is set to host VH1's revival of 'America's Funniest People,' premiering Monday, November 16 at 9 PM ET/PT with back-to-back episodes. The series will continue with two new episodes every Monday night in the same time slot. Ms. Pat, known for her blunt humor and life story, brings her unique perspective to the classic clip show format. The original 'America's Funniest People' aired on ABC from 1990 to 1994, and this VH1 version aims to capture viral moments and user-generated content. The premiere date and trailer were announced exclusively by Deadline, generating buzz among comedy fans. With Ms. Pat's rising profile—including her own BET+ series and podcast—the show is positioned to attract a broad audience. Viewers can expect a mix of laugh-out-loud clips and Ms. Pat's unfiltered commentary. The show's return reflects a larger trend of nostalgic reboots in the unscripted space. As the November 16 debut approaches, all eyes are on whether Ms. Pat can make the format her own.
