Milwaukee Brewers Celebrate World Series Win on SNL‘s ’Weekend Update’ with Bobby Moynihan as Drunk Uncle

Fresh off their World Series triumph, the Milwaukee Brewers brought the party to Studio 8H, making a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live’s “Weekend Update.” Manager Pat Murphy, designated hitter Christian Yelich, and second baseman Brice Turang joined returning alum Bobby Moynihan, who revived his beloved Drunk Uncle character for the occasion. The segment highlighted the team’s championship glory and gave fans a memorable crossover moment between baseball and late-night comedy. The appearance underscores the Brewers’ cultural moment, as their first World Series title in franchise history continues to resonate beyond the diamond. With the trophy in tow, the players and manager played along with Moynihan’s boozy, rambling persona, creating a viral-ready clip that blends sports triumph with SNL’s signature humor. For the Brewers, it’s another sign that their championship run has cemented them in the national spotlight, reaching audiences far beyond Milwaukee. As the team enjoys its victory lap, this cameo may be just the start of more high-profile appearances.
