How to Watch the 2026 Daytime Emmy Awards: Streaming Details for the 53rd Annual Ceremony

The 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026, but unlike its name suggests, the ceremony will not air during the daytime or on traditional television. For the second consecutive year, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) will stream the event exclusively on its official YouTube page, making it accessible to viewers worldwide without a cable subscription. This shift reflects the growing trend of major awards shows moving to digital platforms to reach broader, younger audiences. Fans of daytime dramas, talk shows, and news programs can tune in for free, but they should note the unusual Friday night timing. The move underscores the industry's adaptation to changing viewing habits, ensuring the awards remain relevant in an increasingly streaming-centric media landscape. Mark your calendars and set a reminder—this year's Daytime Emmys are just a click away.
