Emraan Hashmi's 'Rooh' Adds Tips Films and Tips Music Ahead of 2027 Release

Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi's upcoming musical horror film 'Rooh' has gained major production backing from Tips Films and Tips Music, with industry veteran Kumar Taurani joining the project. The film, directed by Mayank Sharma from a screenplay co-written with Vishal Kapoor, is set for a 2027 theatrical release across Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu markets. Tips Films will present the movie, signaling a strong push for multi-language distribution. This collaboration brings together Hashmi's star power with Tips' established music and film production expertise, particularly fitting for a musical horror genre. With a release still years away, the early assembly of key partners suggests a strategic, long-term plan to build anticipation and secure wide reach. The move highlights the growing trend of pan-Indian releases for Bollywood productions, aiming to capture audiences beyond the Hindi belt. As the project develops, industry watchers will be keen to see how the musical elements are integrated into the horror narrative, a combination that has seen renewed interest in Indian cinema.
