Emilia Clarke's Horror Film 'When Darkness Loves Us' Acquired by Bleecker Street for 2027 Release

Emilia Clarke, best known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in HBO's 'Game of Thrones', is set to star in the horror film 'When Darkness Loves Us', which has found a home at Bleecker Street for a theatrical release in 2027. The film, directed by James Ashcroft, is based on Elizabeth Engstrom's 1980s novella and centers on a gripping narrative about a young woman navigating a world filled with dark secrets. This acquisition marks a significant step for both the film and its production team, expected to build considerable anticipation in the horror genre leading up to its release. The film promises to showcase Clarke's range as an actress away from her fantasy roots, potentially opening new avenues for her career in the horror landscape.
