Award-Winning Bulgarian Filmmakers Grozeva and Valchanov Premiere Anti-Corruption Film at Karlovy Vary

Acclaimed Bulgarian directing duo Kristina Grozeva and Petar Valchanov are making a highly anticipated return to the Karlovy Vary Film Festival with their latest feature, 'Black Money for White Nights.' The pair, known for their incisive and thought-provoking cinematic narratives, previously won the Crystal Globe in 2019 for 'The Father,' which was Bulgaria's Oscar entry. Their new film, set in 2022, serves as a potent commentary on pressing societal issues, specifically tackling themes of widespread corruption and declining moral integrity within modern Bulgaria. Grozeva and Valchanov's consistent selection for major international festivals underscores their reputation for crafting significant contemporary cinema.
