ABC Renewed Popular Series 'The Rookie' and 'Will Trent' for New Seasons

In a significant move for its lineup, ABC has officially renewed both 'The Rookie' and 'Will Trent' for additional seasons. 'The Rookie', which has gained a dedicated fanbase, will embark on its ninth season, while 'Will Trent', based on the popular novels by Karin Slaughter, will continue to captivate audiences into its fifth season. Both shows are currently concluding their current seasons this May, and the renewals reflect ABC's commitment to maintaining engaging programming in the police procedural and crime drama genres. This decision comes as both series have demonstrated strong performance in ratings and viewer engagement, making them integral parts of ABC’s strategy moving forward in a competitive landscape.
