Rima Dain Transforms Outdoor Spaces with Custom Architectural Rugs for Terraces

Marbella-based design studio Rima Dain is redefining outdoor living by introducing custom architectural outdoor rugs that serve as structural zoning elements for residential and hospitality terraces. The studio emphasizes the importance of custom proportions, which allow the rugs to be tailored to specific spatial dimensions, creating distinct functional areas such as lounging, dining, and walkways. By using UV-stabilized synthetic flatweaves, the rugs are designed to withstand intense sun exposure without fading, ensuring longevity in harsh outdoor conditions. Additionally, water-permeable backings prevent water pooling and allow for quick drying, making them practical for various climates. This approach not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces but also improves their functionality, turning terraces into cohesive, well-defined extensions of indoor living. For architects and designers, this means a versatile tool to articulate outdoor layouts with precision and style. As outdoor living continues to grow in popularity, Rima Dain's innovations offer a durable and elegant solution for creating inviting exterior zones.
