Nokia 2360 Flip Phone: Remote Setup for Seniors, but 2G Limits Future

HMD’s new Nokia 2360 flip phone targets seniors and minimalists with a classic design and modern twists like remote setup, but its reliance on 2G networks raises concerns as carriers phase out the aging standard. The phone offers large buttons, a simple interface, and a feature that lets family members configure it from afar—a standout for tech-shy users. However, with 2G sunsetting in many regions, including major U.S. carriers, the device’s longevity is questionable. For those in areas with active 2G coverage, the 2360 is a nostalgic, functional choice; for everyone else, it’s a reminder that simplicity sometimes comes with a shelf life.
