Dezeen readers have selected 19 winners in the architecture category of the Dezeen Awards 2026 public vote. Among the standout projects are works by Blight Rayner Architecture, Foster + Partners, and Schemata Architects, which emerged as readers' favorites. Notably, French studio Collectif Encore's transformation of a former industrial warehouse into open civic infrastructure won the majority vote in two separate categories, a rare double victory that underscores the project's broad appeal. The public vote runs parallel to the main Dezeen Awards jury, giving design enthusiasts a direct voice in recognizing innovative architecture. This year's winners span diverse typologies and regions, reflecting current trends in adaptive reuse, civic engagement, and sustainable design. The recognition from Dezeen's global audience highlights which projects resonate most with the public—not just critics—offering valuable insight into the direction of contemporary architecture. As the Dezeen Awards 2026 program continues, these public vote winners will be celebrated alongside jury-selected honorees, further cementing their impact on the international design community.
