MEXC and Hacken Launch AI Trading Safety Handbook to Promote Safer AI Adoption

MEXC, a 0-fee digital asset trading platform, and Hacken, a blockchain security firm, have released the MEXC × Hacken AI Trading Safety Handbook to guide safer use of AI in trading. The handbook follows MEXC's AI Trading Report, which found that 71.8% of users are willing to use automated trading when limits on funds, positions, leverage, and losses are in place, up from 55% without such controls. It addresses risks like credential exposure, excessive permissions, manipulated data, and unintended execution, emphasizing that AI actions should be checked against separate permissions and risk controls. For users, it outlines five safety checks: Ask, Verify, Limit, Control, and Review. For platforms, it sets five principles: Guard, Limit, Approve, Controls, and Test. MEXC CEO Vugar Usi Zade said, "AI can make trading more accessible and efficient, but greater capability should come with stronger safeguards." Hacken CEO Dyma Budorin noted that AI agents will soon place more orders than people and trust should be earned through independent controls and continuous testing. The handbook aims to serve as a practical reference as AI adoption grows, helping raise risk awareness and support responsible integration across the industry.
